12 Minute Makeover Graphic January 12, 2010
12:00 Noon

The Tucson 12-Minute Makeover is a community-wide litter clean up and beautification project that takes place throughout Tucson on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 12:00 noon.

At exactly 12:00 p.m., we encourage everyone to step outside and clean up where he or she lives, works, learns and plays. This can be outside your home or office, on a school playground, ball field, or a parking lot.

The goal of the 12-Minute Makeover is to encourage community pride and to make a difference in our neighborhoods. People who have the strongest community bonds feel the highest obligation to keep their areas litter-free. A cleaner city is a safer city. Keeping Tucson clean and beautiful is up to everyone.

Participants are asked to dispose of litter and recyclables in their own containers and to follow Safety Guidelines developed by the City of Tucson (click on the link above). Please remember to recycle!
