Compressed Natural Gas
The City of Tucson operates a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station for City-owned vehicles at its Price Service Center and the Eastside Service Center. The Price Service Center station provides CNG fuel to the City's bus fleet, and both stations provide fuel to 109 other City fleet units.

Fleet Services continues to explore other alternatives to fuels, including biodiesel and low-sulphur diesel, throughout the City fleet.

Liquid Fuel (Unleaded and Diesel)
Fleet Services operates 9 fueling stations throughout the City providing liquid fuel services to the City of Tucson fleet of over 2,500 vehicles. In Fiscal Year 2005, Fleet Services dispensed over 1,500,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline and over 1,200,000 gallons of diesel fuel.
