Bicycle Use
Tucson is currently is the 12th in the nation for Biking to Work %, according to the annual American Community Survey, which is done annually by the Bureau of the Census. Tucson has hovered around 2% for the last ten years. Back in 2000, Tucson was 1st in the nation. Other cities like Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans and Minneapolis have seen great gains in bicycling in recent years. Keep in mind, the survey only counts residents within the city limits of Tucson.
