In this second Best Practices to Develop Solar Energy webinar, we discuss how to eliminate existing barriers to the expansion of solar energy collection, and how we can employ strategic planning to make installing these systems easier in the future. From conflicts with existing ordinances, such as tree protection and historic districts, to developing Solar Ready Ordinances and adding solar policies and goals to strategic planning documents, our panelists will provide examples and guidance to lead our communities toward comprehensive planning for future solar development.
