AQUATICS CENTER CELEBRATES 5^TH ANNIVERSARY NOV. 21

The Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center, located across from the zoo in Reid Park, will celebrate its fifth anniversary Saturday, Nov. 21 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The public is invited to participate in an anniversary celebration that will include a free swim day, games, demonstrations, refreshments and dignitaries.

The recognizable white tensile roof covering the aquatic facility’s outdoor community pool was raised in 2004 for the grand opening of the $6.23 million year-round facility. Amenities include an indoor warm water Therapy Pool, and the center hosts a variety of aquatic and adaptive aquatic classes.
