Thematic Leadership
§ Arts Theme- focuses on self-awareness, open-mindedness, creativity, and vision through the arts as a form of leadership development.
§ Global Theme- focuses on understanding, appreciating, and advocating for ALL people of ALL cultures.
§ Social Entrepreneurial Theme- Using business principals for social causes.

Case Competition

Case Competition
§ Purpose- to help create current change with residents during the revitalization plan
§ OARP will formulate case study questions
§ Teams of 3-4 will research and propose possible solutions to the questions
§ Students will be trained by OARP staff and work closely with residents to learn about community issues and its assets
§ Case Competition will take place on April 24th

MERIDIAN PROJECT

§ Goal: To collect a written and visual representation of the Oracle Area’s oral history
§ Projects
§ Develop a video of current memories and oral history from past and present residence
§ Design and distribute poster’s displaying oral history
§ Plan and have an event to reveal project and celebrate the history of the Oracle Area

§ Video- Project will start at the TPAC events on Nov. 8th and 9th
§ Posters- to be put along streets, at bus stops, and restaurants
§ Event- 50’s sock hop event next semester
