On May 4, 2009, Damion Maxwell and another suspect went to the victim's apartment and entered without permission. Maxwell pulled out a weapon and pointed it at the victim. The other suspect assaulted the victim. Maxwell attempted to take the victim by force, but the victim was able to escape.
