On February 23, 2011, the Tucson Police Department responded to the desert area located near West Ajo Way and South I-19 regarding the discovery of human skeletal remains. The remains were transported to the Pima County Medical Examiner's office where they were later examined by a Forensic Anthropologist. After review of the remains, it appears that the victim died from obvious signs of trauma and may have been buried 2 to 3 years prior to being discovered. The victim was possibly wearing a Pro Bowl style Arizona Cardinals "Larry Fitzgerald" jersey and a pair of "No Boundaries" boots.
