The Tucson Police Department strives to provide the highest quality of response and service to members of the Tucson community. This is to ensure that you, as a victim of crime, are afforded your legal rights to be treated with fairness, respect, and dignity and to be free from intimidation, harassment, or abuse throughout the criminal or juvenile justice process.

All state, county, and municipal justice agencies and courts in Arizona are required to perform certain duties to ensure that you receive your rights. In addition to these duties the Tucson Police Department has implemented the, Victim Information and Notification Everyday, (VINE) system. This system will provide you with timely and accurate information. Please read the overview below carefully so you will understand your rights.

Note: The attached form is provided as an information resource only. Typically, it is given directly to victims of certain crimes by investigating officers of the Tucson Police Department. This form is not applicable to incidents that occur outside the jurisdiction of the City of Tucson, Arizona.
