The Citizens Task Force (CTF) for the Broadway: Euclid to Country Club Improvement Project invites the community to a Planning Update presentation and Community Workshop on Thursday, September 26, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sabbar Shrine Hall, 450 S. Tucson Blvd.   Attendees will be able to "Learn, Discuss, and Provide Input and Ideas" on the regional corridor project through meeting the 13-member CTF and the project planning and design team, learning about the project progress and schedule, and discussing and providing input on street width alternatives and performance measures being considered by the CTF  and the project team.

Attendees will also be able to participate in Community Workshop small group discussions and planning, and share feedback about the project via comment cards and message boards.

The Broadway Boulevard: Euclid Avenue to Country Club Roadway Improvement Project is one of 35 major regional corridor projects that are part of the 2006 voter-approved Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) Plan. This $71.3 million project will shape future regional mobility, the roadway’s look and feel, community character, economic vitality, and the future of Broadway as a downtown gateway.  The Broadway Project is currently in the Planning and Design Phase, which includes the Task Force and public involvement and participation.
