On Wednesday, April 17, 2013, and Thursday, April 18, 2013, the City of Tucson Department of Transportation (TDOT) and Hunter Contracting will be preforming night work at Seven Generations Way and Houghton Road. Work crews will close the entrance to Seven Generations Way between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., each night for water line work.

Motorists will be permitted to access Houghton Road from Seven Generations Way; however, access to Seven Generations Way from Houghton Road will be prohibited during the work hours listed above. Tucson Police officers will be present to direct traffic through the work area. Motorists can access the neighborhood by using Civano Boulevard or Drexel Road.

For motorists using Houghton Road to access the Pima County Fair, please be advised that while all travel lanes are open, construction barricading is in place on Houghton Road between Irvington Road and Valencia Road, along with reduced speed limits.

The traveling public can expect delays when driving, bicycling or walking in these work areas during this work. Please obey all traffic control signs and watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work zone.
