Mission Strong

Mission Strong is an effort of the Southern Arizona Defense Alliance, a broad group of community and civic leaders, business organizations, military support groups, elected officials across all political affiliations, and private citizens.  What is their Mission? It is “to protect our local military assets and the nation’s defense.”  Why?  America’s armed forces deliver a huge economic benefit to our community. Southern Arizona’s five military assets provide nearly 62,000 direct and indirect jobs and pump $5.4 billion into our economy every year. But that could be at serious risk due to actions by our federal government: sequestration, predicted budget cuts, and the uncertain future of the A-10 fighter plane.  A recent survey found that 82% are in favor of having the aircraft stationed in Southern Arizona.  If you are in support of the Military Installations, become a supporter of Mission Strong and have your voice heard.  You can do so by going to  If you would like to know about the survey taken, you can check it out here,
