Tucson Water is committed to producing and delivering high quality drinking water that is clear, clean and secure for our customers and the community. Our drinking water meets all federal National Primary Drinking Water standards.
The Water Quality and Operations Division’s chemists, microbiologists, planners, analysts, disinfection personnel, system and water treatment operators, environmental scientists, and inspectors combine efforts to monitor the quality of our drinking at more than 400 wells, reservoirs, sampling stations and homes throughout the Tucson metro area and surrounding communities. We test for 150 different chemicals and microbes and report the information to the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and to our customers.
